Director, Alliances Marketing
Enterprise Endpoint and Edge Computing Software Vendor
About the opportunity
Our client builds a secure endpoint and cloud workspace platform used by large, highly regulated organizations to deliver and protect end user computing at scale.
This is an alliances marketing seat with real ownership. You will run the marketing motion that turns the company's technology partner ecosystem into pipeline, working across cloud platforms, hardware manufacturers, and security vendors rather than inside a single product line.
The hiring team is looking for someone who will grow into this seat and build the function up, not someone stepping back into a role they have already outgrown.
The role
As Director, Alliances Marketing, you will own partner and alliance marketing end to end: co-marketing strategy, joint go to market campaigns, and the scalable programs that make the partner ecosystem a repeatable source of revenue.
You will work closely with Alliances and Business Development, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Channel, and Sales to take joint value propositions from positioning through to executed campaigns and measured pipeline.
What you will own
Alliance and Co-Marketing Strategy
- Own the co-marketing strategy across the technology partner and strategic alliance portfolio
- Build joint value propositions and joint messaging that hold up for both sides of the partnership
- Prioritize the partner portfolio by opportunity, and decide where to invest marketing effort and funds
- Establish the operating rhythm with partner marketing counterparts at each alliance
Joint Go to Market Execution
- Plan and execute joint campaigns, launches, webinars, and partner events end to end
- Turn joint solutions into demand generation programs with clear offers and follow up motions
- Build the joint content layer: solution briefs, reference architectures, case studies, and campaign assets
- Coordinate field and regional execution so joint programs actually land with sellers on both sides
Partner Programs and Enablement
- Build and scale repeatable partner marketing programs rather than one off activity
- Manage co-marketing funds and program budget, and hold both to a measurable return
- Equip partner sellers and internal sellers with the narrative, assets, and enablement they need to run the joint motion
- Support the partner ecosystem program with the marketing layer that makes participation worth it
Pipeline, Measurement and Reporting
- Own the pipeline and revenue contribution of partner and alliance marketing
- Define the metrics that show which partnerships and which programs are working
- Report results and investment decisions to marketing and executive leadership
- Feed performance signal back into portfolio prioritization and program design
Cross Functional Partnership
- Partner with Alliances and Business Development so marketing and partnership strategy stay aligned
- Work with Product Marketing to keep joint positioning consistent with core platform positioning
- Work with Demand Generation, Channel, and Field Marketing to convert joint programs into pipeline
- Represent the company with partner marketing teams, at partner events, and in joint customer facing moments
What we are looking for
Required
- Direct experience in alliance or technology partner marketing, owning the marketing relationship with partner organizations. This is the highest priority for this seat.
- Proven B2B technology marketing experience, ideally in enterprise software, cloud, or infrastructure
- Track record building and executing co-marketing and joint go to market programs that produced measurable pipeline
- Experience developing joint value propositions and joint messaging with a partner, not just campaign execution against someone else's positioning
- Ability to run partner marketing as a repeatable program, including budget ownership and measurement
- Comfort working across Alliances, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Channel, and Sales without direct authority over them
- Able to work a hybrid schedule from the Fort Lauderdale, FL area, or open to relocating there
Preferred
- Domain background in one or more of: endpoint management, end user computing, VDI or DaaS, cloud workspaces, endpoint security, zero trust, or edge computing
- Experience marketing with ISV, OEM, or cloud hyperscaler alliances
- Channel and partner program marketing experience alongside the alliance motion
- Experience managing co-marketing funds or market development funds with partners
- Experience marketing into regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or public sector
- Experience building a partner marketing function where limited structure existed before
Why this seat
- Ownership. Co-marketing strategy, joint go to market, programs, and the pipeline number sit with this role rather than being split across three teams.
- Ecosystem breadth. The partner portfolio spans cloud platforms, hardware manufacturers, and security vendors, so the surface area is genuinely wide.
- Build mandate. This is a seat to grow into and build up, with room to set how partner marketing runs.
