Open Roles / LC-REQ-Q7XQ65-V
Vice President, Global Product Marketing
an enterprise endpoint software vendor headquartered in South Florida
About the opportunity
Our client builds a secure endpoint and cloud workspace platform used by large, highly regulated organizations to deliver and protect end user computing at scale.
This is a global leadership seat. You will own the product marketing function end to end and serve as the connective tissue between what the company builds and how the market understands, values, and buys it.
The role
As Vice President, Global Product Marketing, you will lead the global product marketing function and own positioning, messaging, go to market execution, pricing and packaging, and competitive intelligence for the secure endpoint platform across enterprise, cloud workspace, and IT/OT environments.
You will also build and scale a high performing global product marketing team, partnering closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
What you will own
Positioning and Messaging
- Define and own the global positioning and messaging architecture for the platform and its portfolio
- Translate deeply technical capability into clear, differentiated value for enterprise IT and security buyers
- Build the narrative that carries across the website, campaigns, sales conversations, analyst briefings, and the partner ecosystem
- Establish message consistency across regions, segments, and routes to market
Go to Market Execution
- Own go to market strategy and execution for launches, releases, and portfolio expansion
- Define target segments, buyer personas, and use cases across enterprise, cloud workspace, and IT/OT environments
- Build the sales enablement layer: pitch narratives, battlecards, demo storylines, objection handling, and first call decks
- Partner with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and Channel to convert positioning into pipeline
Pricing and Packaging
- Own pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with Product, Finance, and Sales leadership
- Design packaging that maps to how customers actually buy and expand
- Model pricing scenarios and their revenue impact, and lead the cross functional process to approval
- Govern discounting guidance and commercial positioning against competitive pressure
Competitive Intelligence
- Build and run the competitive intelligence program as a standing function, not a one time project
- Maintain the competitive landscape across direct competitors, adjacent platforms, and alternative approaches
- Deliver actionable win/loss insight and field ready competitive assets
- Feed market and competitive signal back into product strategy and roadmap prioritization
Team Leadership and Cross Functional Partnership
- Build, scale, and develop a high performing global product marketing team
- Set the operating model, standards, and career paths for the function
- Serve as a trusted partner to Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership
- Represent the company externally with analysts, press, partners, and customers
What we are looking for
Required
- Proven leadership of a product marketing function at a B2B enterprise software or infrastructure company, including experience managing and developing a team
- Track record owning positioning and messaging for a technical platform sold to enterprise IT and security buyers such as CIO, CISO, and IT operations leadership
- Direct ownership of pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with Product and Finance, not just input into it
- Experience standing up or running a competitive intelligence practice with measurable field impact
- Global scope: experience driving go to market across multiple regions and routes to market, including channel and partner motions
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical architecture into commercial narrative
- Executive presence and comfort operating with and presenting to an executive leadership team
- Able to work on a hybrid schedule from the Fort Lauderdale, FL area
Preferred
- Domain background in one or more of: endpoint management, end user computing, VDI or DaaS, cloud workspaces, endpoint security, zero trust, or IT/OT and operational technology environments
- Experience marketing through a platform transition or business model shift, for example perpetual to subscription
- Analyst relations experience with major industry research firms
- Experience selling into regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or public sector
- Experience scaling a function through a growth or private equity backed environment
Why this seat
- True ownership. Positioning, pricing, packaging, competitive, and go to market sit under one leader rather than being split across three orgs.
- Executive visibility. This role partners directly with Product, Sales, Finance, and the executive team.
- Build mandate. You are being hired to build and scale the function and the team, not to maintain one.
